Re: [iPad] Apple Releases iOS 8.1.2, It Will Anger Users - Forbes

I've googled and applied. What helps a little is ridiculous. Airplane mode when not being used. Only manual email checking. Etc. Even then. Starting from 99% I get two fifteen minute breaks if cell service usage (texting and email with some facebook) and a half hour lunch then within ten or fifteen minutes after work my phone is powering off because of a lack of battery. I've had iPhones since the OG and this is ridiculous. I have never gotten less than 90 minutes usage on a full charge. My device embarrasses me.

Same here, but my iPhone 6 was so I Googled the problem & applied almost every fix I found. Battery life is now excellent, but I can't say exactly what fixed it.
