It's possible that not all the apps are in their original place. Those will have to be moved manually. If you're using POP email then then it might be easier to switch to IMAP.

Hello, newbie here!I signed up a few days ago. I'm mainly a lurker but do drop by occasionally with a question. I live in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the south west of England. I use my laptop quite a lot but find my iPad very handy when on my breaks at work and also at home when my cat is curled up on my lap!I have a question - I downloaded the latest software the other day and today it dawned on me that the digital photo frame has vanished from the main screen. I'm used to seeing it when starting up and often set it going when the iPad is charging. Well, the little flower icon no longer appears in the bottom right of the screen! The update hs also changed the icons on Safari & the folder names in the email app. Was it really necessary for the bin to become trash and for spam to become junk? Not all iPad users live in America & Canada!BFN,Janet.
