Re: [iPad] Upgrading to ios7

I've had the same with iMessage with iOS 7. It's fixed in 7.03 and in a fair timeframe

After I upgraded to iOS 6 it took 3 more updates for Apple to fix my WiFi problem caused by the upgrade.

Upgrade both.  New versions are to fix problems.  Just upgrade the devices.

Well I'm wondering about resale value if the iPad 2 with iOS 5 would be preferable than one with iOS 7 on it to someone. That at least gives someone the option to upgrade or not.
Also I'm unsure if returning it to the factory defaults would force the upgrade regardless...

Upgrading to iOS 6 was somewhat of a disappointment which is one reason I haven't upgraded to iOS 7 yet.

Hi,

I have an iPad 2 and in iPhone 5. The iPad is running ios5 still (last of the google map native app timeframe) and the iPhone is running the last thing before iOS7 came out.
I'm thinking of leaving the iPad the way it is, but upgrading the iPhone 5 to the latest iOS 7.
For those with the same devices as me, what do you recommend? What's still not working right for the original iPhone 5? Will I regret upgrading?
Any suggestions on what to do with the iPad 2 at this point?

Thanks for any suggestions,
