Re: [iPad] Re: imaessage problems

I'll bet a lot of users are having iOS7 problems of one sort or another.  That was a big revision.  Be surprising of bugs weren't popping out of the woodwork.  Patience.

But, with all the little stumbles, I'm a happy camper.

I've spent the past week looking over a Trio someone's husband bought for "a great price" a year or two ago as a learning toy for their kindergartner.   Oh my God.  Thank God for Apple, even with old Tim Cook stuck at the head.

Very good point. There apparently is no issue of consequence. So we can close this thread as it will be rare that anyone or our loved one or friend ones could be beset by this bug, statistically.

Well then, since Jim Saklad is only allowing math as it comes from Apple
to be valid, it seems as if you live among a sinkhole of iOS7 users
while the super-large vast majority of iOS7 users (something greater
than 99.5% of all users, if Apple can be believed in the way that Jim
would like us to believe them) have no problems at all.

The fact that nearly 100% of the iOS7 users known to you are having
problems is obviously not true data. Just ask Jim - if you say it (or
Tony or Pete or any of us on this list) it's merely anecdote. But if
Apple says it, it's data.

But at least through all this thread we have learned that Apple is
supposedly releasing a fix.

Which makes me wonder that the problem really is only a fraction of 1%
of iOS7 users -- does Apple always spend that much effort to resolve
other problems that only affect a fraction of 1% of its users?
