IME the burst mode takes smaller photos. Not full resolution :(

Thanks very much, David! Glad I'm not the only one. You may be right that only the iPhone 5S has that "cool" feature. In the meantime I think the burst feature is rather cool! I can also get that burst feature with the touch screen "shutter" by leaving my finger on it.
