This year, the PW2 is better. It's what the PW should have looked like last year. The Page Flip is 1 of the best features yet. Hopefully, amazon will send be able to send a software update for the Page Flip to the PW1. Check 1 out to see the difference.

I have been using my Paperwhite fairly heavily for a year. I find that without turning the screen lighten up high, it is too dim, grey, and "squinty" to be a comfortable reader indoors (where all my reading is done).
I haven't found it in the least slow and clunky, given that its only function is to display book text.
