Drag an app to the right and it will create a new home screen.  Keep repeating that for more screens.

The dots represent Home screens on your device.  My guess is that you now have two.  Before iOS7, one of the dots represented the Search page which is now available by swiping down from the middle of any Home page.

I  just recently updated to IOS7 and noticed that on old version, I had 4-5 little black dot under my Icons, and by clicking on them, it would take me to that screen - Now I only have two.
 
My Ipad is a Version 3 with 32mb
 
Anyone have the same issue - Is this normal
