I've had messages refuse to send. First time was ios4. Same with other issues a reboot fixes the problem. For me.

FunnyYou have decided what Apple states is factual, and you pass that on "*Apple* has stated the iMessage problems affected a fraction of 1%." How do you know it is factual? Then you criticise Pete, "So you are innumerate also?"Re the news appearance, "That statement doesn't follow logically from the evidence" so you now disbelieve the news? What evidence?Clearly as we all see from any company, they downplay the issue, thats marketing, thats normal. News articles will off course up play it as its news, thats normal. NO ONE here knows the extent of the issue. We can read what we read and take what we want from it, I go by my real world experience, and what I read from real users elsewhere, so I see the issue as well over a fraction of a percent. I think my reasonings are fair, as fair as the can be given that there is no evidence from Apple, just a marketing based statement to deal with the bug. I dont have a need to fight Apple or to fight anyone else, nor to show biased responses, stating facts that are not facts in order to defend Apple. We are not enummerate. Are you so biased that you actually cannot actually see that?Be more productive to out forward your "opinion" as there are no facts, and follow that up with what users can do. On that here is my input.1. Reset Network Settings after turning off iMessage, then turn on iMessage.2. When you send, make sure it sent, if it doesnt you can touch the message and choose the option to send as text3. I assume unlimited text is common now, so you can turn off iMessage and wait for the fixBottom line is, its a bug. Bit of a bummer, but you get that in IT and Apple is by no means an exception.. They will fix it, life will go on.

That statement doesn't follow logically from the evidence, but, at any rate, I never said it *was* isolated to a few users.
> Since you know the number of people that have iOS 7 and the number of devices with the problem then maybe you can share those statistics with the rest of us.
So you are innumerate also?
*Apple* stated several days ago that there had been more than 200,000,000 iOS 7 activations.
*Apple* has stated the iMessage problems affected a fraction of 1%.
*Tony* stated: "As to a fraction of a percent, not in my experience, a great deal more"
How many is "a great deal more" than "a fraction of 1%" of "more than 200,000,000?
I was able to work out, before I got to high school, that that would be "more than a fraction of" 2,000,000.
Which implies Tony's experience is with quite a lot more installations than any single human I am aware of.
