I use the delete key to delete. And I use the add to iTunes library folder to get stuff into iTunes and the sync button to get them onto my iDevice.

I have some songs I've recorded myself as a musician and have made into MP3 files. They are on my hard drive of my PC in a folder. I don't know why but I seem to be at a loss as how to add them to my itunes on my iPad as an album or a playlist for playback. Heck, I'm having trouble even deleting old versions of these songs. Now, I can't even find any delete buttons or when I select a folder to add, it just gives me a blank folder. So what I have here is a bunch of older versions of the songs that I want to remove and can't... and some new ones that I can't add. Has something changed?

At least, could someone steer me to some help on this topic please. iTunes help doesn't help as far as I have searched.

Also, I'm knowledgeable about how to set up the info like artist, album etc which is filled in correctly. Thanks
