I don't want apps running in the background on my mobile device. I prefer battery life. If I want multitasking I think laptops and desktops are perfect for that.

With the icons so easy to get to on the screen, does anybody have any
clue why there is a "recently used" list of apps? I can't see any use
for it, but that may well be my short-sightedness.
