Since iOS could not do multi-tasking, the open apps list was made visible . Since Windows gives that even on laptops, iPad is unable to replace laptops. Sooner or later, the processing power and RAM will be large enough to have that in one of the future versions of iOS .PKSJust to be clear, what Vickie means is that the icon in the "recently
used" list will come back the next time you open that app. Not that
they'll be back every time you open the iPad.
With the icons so easy to get to on the screen, does anybody have any
clue why there is a "recently used" list of apps? I can't see any use
for it, but that may well be my short-sightedness.
Insights welcome. :-)
