I think mine sometimes drops out. I will be sending an email then get a connot connect message. I go to settings and reconnectnto the wifi. Doesn't happen a lot, but never had that issue with the 1.

A friend of mine that my husband works with had the ipad1 like I do, at work was he able to connect with the company wi-fi hot spot with his ipad1 from his desk at work. He recently bought the ipad2 and can no longer connect at his desk and has to move closer to the hot spot to connect. My husband has the iPad2 and he tried connecting from the friends desk also and his iPad2 won't connect from there either. It looks like ipad2 does not have the wi-fi range of the ipad1. I am wondering what they might have changed and wondering if this will be true on ipad3 also. I know no one will know about ipad3 but what do you think about the range difference?JudithPhotos: http://www.pbase.com/pooh4jvn/rootTake nothing but photosLeave nothing but footprintsBreak nothing but the silenceKill nothing but timeSent from my iPadMuch? Memory capacity of next iPad is likely to be much higher. Some of the iBooks are 800 MB to 3 GB.
