Re: [iPad] A Sister’s Eulogy for Steve Jobs

I feel odd saying this. But I found myself weeping as I finished the book. I found it astonishing that he knew he was an ahole that he saw it in his child. I am now convinced that Siri is coming to the apple tv. I wish the second half of the book hadn't sped up and the first part been so drawn out. I wanted it to be the exact opposite. I wanted more info from
96-11 than from 75 til 96. But I loved the book.

You know it!

Yesterday I had my eyelid lift and now look like I have gone a couple of rounds with Ali. But while I was being prepped and all, doctors and I were talking about the Steveness and we all had our own little 'memorial' for him. Another Doctor, not mine, technically, knew me from the Mac User's group here and she came in to share with us too. She was so sweet, and we all lamented the loss of this man.

"My" surgeon, showing his iPad, stated how these things have literally changed their entire Surgical center's procedures in reports and even photos. They have High-def cameras, but for small shots thru a surgery, they can snap a quick one with the iPad 2 and have it for their reports.

When I see TV shows, "Body Of Proof" and others using iPads and "The Event" with its' use of iPhones, then seeing YouTube videos of babies using the iPad, I realize just how much of an impact Steve has had on our daily lives.

Wow. Just Wow!

Einsteins last words were "it's beautiful over there"
Steve jobs, a man obsessed with creating simplistic pure beauty out of machines, says "OH WOW OH WOW OH WOW" coincidence? I think saw something so beautiful he exclaimed oh wow thrice. Quite telling.
