I believe when you open them iBooks they are copied out of Dropbox. To get the Steve jobs bio on my iPad I placed the file in my website folder and went to safari on my iPad to browse there and click the file to add it. Maybe Dropbox will work the same.

I'm not sure what I mean either (-:My concern is that dropbox has limited capacity. I'm wanting to store files that are in dropbox on the drive on my iPad thus freeing up space in dropbox.----- Original Message -----From: twenty pearlsSent: Tuesday, November 01, 2011 8:13 AMSubject: Re: [iPad] PDF's uploaded to Dropbox
do you have iBooks on your iPad? Dropbox gives you the option to open in ibooks. Not quite sure what you mean by moving them to the drive of the ipad. You can open them and read them from Dropbox or iBooks.
