You didn't say whether you bought an AT&T iPad. If you didn't buy the
AT&T 3G model, you will need to buy an AT&T cell phone, setup service
with AT&T and pay the extra charge for using your phone as a hot-spot,
and then you will be able to access the internet faster by using wi-fi
to connect to your phone's mobile hot-spot. It's not cheap, but with
that you'll also be able to use the wi-fi hot-spot of your AT&T phone to
connect your computer at a faster rate and enjoy surfing the web a lot
better and faster.
