I imagine there are a lot of sad people today due to the loss of Steve Jobs.  It is consoling to realize that--although he was taken from us MUCH too soon--at least he was one of the few people who knew during his lifetime that his vision and his wonderful products brought incredible usefulness, fun and joy to so many, many people all over the world.  It would surely touch him to know that people everywhere were mourning his loss although most of us were never lucky enough to meet him.

Another consolation is that we can get some comfort from each other.  I was just going to bed last night and having a nightcap while looking up something on my iPad when a little musical sound called my attention to my iPhone--"Steve Jobs is dead," was written on the little message from our local newspaper.  Like Jenny with her Irish coffee, I sadly raised my little glass of Amarula as a toast to that fine gentleman, Steve Jobs, who has literally changed and greatly enriched my life in so many ways.

My thanks go to all of you for expressing your feelings and thoughts.  I especially appreciate Dick Johnson's words:  ..."with only admiration and respect, Mr. Jobs [is] now in his unique place among the iClouds."
