Jobs was a true visionary.
I loved his work on NextStep and his iOS and awesome hardware for Macs took a friendly computer to whole new pinnacles in Interaction Design and Usability.
I would not be so excited about iTouches, iPads, Mac portables if someone else had made perfunctory versions. Such panache, such stubborn devotion and love for the products in the best way.
Dealing with Music companies and Hollywood and Software Developers is NEVER EASY he was patient and did some DRM to satisfy them that I am sure upset him but got us consumers content.
You created wonderous things Steve Jobs. Wonderous stylish elegant fast simple things when everyone made complex inelegant slow things. Less is much more sometimes and you and Alan Cooper prove that all the time.
Steve your love for elegance and simplicity and LIGHT (god those laptops and iPads and Touches and Phones are light) and your App Store/iTunes vision made me and many others very happy users.
