Various hangs cause the iPad (1G) to get wiped. iOS5 is now installed and the music play lists appear to be present. iBooks had some strange anomalies. I was afraid my collections would have been wiped, but they're still there. The weirdness is that not all the books made it into the various collections, but were collected in the Books collection and will have to be sorted out. Another bit of weird was that a mysterious 3G was taken from available storage in the Other section. That's cleared, but did make me wonder when it was there. App groupings remained intact. Now to find the updated manual so I can figure out the Newstand and similar new apps that magically appeared. Wasn't painless, but could have been worse.
