My iPad was in that "restoring apps" for well over 5 hours -- but it did
eventually restore all but 2 of my apps, and when I returned from my
band rehearsal last night the whole process was over with a statement
that 2 apps couldn't be restored. So I simply reloaded them by going to
the App store, touching the Purchased tab, then the Not On This Ipad tab
and then re-installed the 2 apps which couldn't be restored.
The whole process took way longer than I thought it should, compared to
any of the previous iOS updates. But then this is a much more major
upgrade.
