I am wondering if I need to back up all my apps along with documents, data, contacts, etc. Is that necessary if the cloud automatically keeps my previously purchased apps in the Apple Store for me? I have over 188 apps and when I tried to do a back up of everything it would take up almost all of my 5 GB free iCloud space, so I was wondering if that is necessary or not. I also have an iPhone and I believe that both iPad and iPhone share the same 5 GB iCloud space so that doesn't leave much room. What are you people doing with regard to backing up, and are you backing up everything or only the important data?
