[iPad] Can't synk Ibooks to Iphone4

 

I have an Ipad 1 amd an Iphone4. Both have the Ibooks app installed. I can load books to the Ipad, but when I try to synk books to the Iphone
I get a message that all music,movies and tv shows will be removed from thas Iphone. ??? I have about half of 16gigs left on the Iphone.
