Apple has a new data center in NC. Is that the place you are thinking about? It is a reported 500,000 square foot structure that will house an estimated 120,000 servers and it will cost Apple a Billion with a B dollars over the next 10 years.

Apple apparently plans to build a second facility that duplicates the first one at the same location, so they will likely have a million or so square feet.
