Make sure both your handbrake & VLC are the most up-to-date versions.


Handbrake can't rip protected DVDs (and all commercial DVDs are protected) by itself anymore.

4 years worth of netflix i ripped every single one, well, except one, "Breakin'" would not rip no matter what i did. the other few thousand netflix movies worked just fine. i think i started in 2004 or 2005 so maybe as much as 6 years of rips. i never found that yoiu even need much of a computer. sure my dual 867mhz g4 would take 4 hours but it would rip them. sucks that it doesn't work on your hardware
