Fair enough BJ. I avoid POP as well, and IMAP as Yahoo has, but doesn't support IMAP so it can and does fail

I can understand why you use Outlook to keep everything in one place, but
what happens when your hard drive fails?
==========================
Restore from a backup, just like anything I keep on my PC.
As I did a few months ago when my hard drive did fail!
I use both Outlook (for a few things) and WLM for email generally.
I have no problem using POP & doing the necessary housekeeping -- and it's
better (*for me*) than risking making mistakes with IMAP deletes from my
mobile (where I usually scan mail at odd moments to deal with properly
later).
YMMV. IMO. BTJM.
