I'm about ready to do the same thing. Right now I have a MiFi device with a $35/mo 3 GB plan with Verizon. With an LTE version of the iPad I can get a $40/mo & 4 GB prepaid plan with Verizon. Verizon doesn't charge extra to use the iPad as a hotspot but the last time I looked AT&T still does.

We currently use a Verizon Jetpack as our internet hotspot both at home & on the road for our laptop & 2 iPhones with less than ideal response and reliability. Our intent is to acquire an iPad Air 2 and we would like to use it as an internet hotspot and get rid of the Verizon Jetpack due to the costs associated with their service but are concerned that the iPad will not be able to service 3 devices and still function as a tablet? Is anybody out there doing this and if so, how successfully? Any thoughts on AT&T's wifi vs Verizon's?Thanks in advance,Billgr0248 (sent from my Macbook Pro)
