Second displays are often really useful for keeping your email open and in view at all times.


Some of our clients use them to run their specialised software on one screen at all times and use the second screen to work on.

On the negative side, if I am on my rMBP, an extra screen may not hold much value, especially as I can cycle through multiple desktops

On the positive side, I might store my iPad next to my rMBP instead of next to the charger, and use the iPad screen for an app that I wish to keep viewable all the time. 

Keen to hear from any that try it, I might. I just need to find a use!
