Re: [iPad] signing up for Verizon on iPad

sorry I didn't see this till now. I just went onto the iPad and it had it under Settings. I don't really remember the details, and haven't had cause to suspend or cancel. That might be under the other way of doing it. It only offered me one way as I recall.

Could you please tell us how you did it?  I also remember part of what to do but there is also a part about suspend versus canceling an account.

We don't have verizon but I was actually able to sign up directly from the iPad.  I did find the old series of emails finally so am good to go. $20 a month and no contract.
Thanks,
Julie

if you already have other devices on verizon you can simply add the iPad to the share-everything group. otherwise the iPad will have it's own account and per month cost.

I have a vague memory that this has been discussed but can't find it. My husband recently got an ipad from his brother that is verizon capable. It is not set up for service yet. I would like to set it up for him, but I remember someone talking about there were 2 ways to set it up and one way was better than the other. Can someone advise me?
Thanks!
Julie
