Yes, LTE is quite good. I get 36mbit at my home, on 2 bars. But our mobile data allowances here in NZ are low.
But they are digging up my street, so I will probbaly get fibre, its only $10 more per month to go from 15/1 to 30/10. My DSL is more than adequate for what I do though, having said that.

My DSL is 2.8 mbps
Sometimes I look as how much data allowance I have on my iOS device and download using that as a hotspot. at 20 mbps or so.
