And of course if you've set up some pictures in a photo album, you can click on sync pictures sync selected photos and it will upload the photo albums you created.

When I first got my iPad, I synced it with my desktop computer, and over 6000 photos were transferred. I can find no way to delete the photos from my iPad and prevent them from being synced again. Does anyone have an answer?
