In your Library,Click on edit and check the book you want to remove. Hit delete and it's gone. If you don't wish to see the books on the cloud go to Settings> iBooks and Click off Show all purchases

Hi Guys I wonder if there is a comprehensive guide to ibooks. I have several 100 books (from various sources, pdf etc.) and find that after having sync with my ipad when I open ibooks and look at the bookcase there are sometimes 10 or more covers of some books, most have what I think is the icloud symbol on them and was wondering how do i delete the books covers, i want to keep one copy with the book. Any help appreciated. I have the ipad 4 I think (the one before the Air).
I also have an iphone 4s and ipod 5th Gen. I sync the ipad with my desktop and the others with my laptop as i use ipod for music and ipad for books and tv shows and want to keep them separate. Regards Chris (Australia)
