To use an iPad, you should install iTunes, on a PC or Mac. Makes no difference

My Mac colleagues here can elaborate on OSX iTunes, if that has more functionality than the Windows version

You would get more integration using a Mac, but Windows still has an Airplay function

A friend is shopping for a tablet. I recommended an iPad but he is reluctant because he uses a M$ machine he calls a PC. (I say a Mac is a personal computer too.)

There must be web pages about how to use a not-Mac computer with an iPad. Recommendations please?
