[iPad] Re: built in apps

Thanks, I tried it, but I got accidentally disconnected at the Apple end and they didn't call back. Eventually after doing a bunch of research on line I found the suggestion. Apparently I had to go to settings, lot out of Apple altogether on the iPad, then shut down until the apple appeared, then go to settings and put my Apple ID and password back in. Then go to the app store, and when I called up each "free" app individually, it finally said free and I downloaded.
Sigh, whenever I get a new device, it is a humongous learning curve. But I am really enjoying it.

I'd call AppleCare. 1800myipad or 1800myapple
I'm not sure iPhoto is included fork free. Try pages instead.
