I ordered mine this afternoon for Monday p/u -- didn't want to go today
anyway! besides not wanting to get up at 3am to order, even if they'd have
my choice there today. Even if it's not there until later in the week
that's OK with me.
I popped for the Grey/128/VZ. I prefer the black bezel; it doesn't matter
much what the back is (as long as I know it's not in the pink-purple family)
since I'll put some kind of case or backing on anyway (for grippiness).
I didn't order the smartcase yet -- I want to have a look & feel first. I
need something that has grip to it, folds over the front for carrying
around, and folds back flat for lap-reading -- which the cover for the 4
does, I don't know how the leather for the Air does on that.
My older ipad3 will go to a cousin, and the even older (Model 1) one I gave
her last year will go to her daughter. Everybody's happy! and I assuage my
guilt over over-gadget-shopping by sharing the goodies!
