As far as I can tell, both "Scan it" and "Snap it" functionality are iPhone/iPod Touch only. My guess is that the choice was made based on the pocketable nature of the smaller devices.

I'd like to use the camera on my ipad 4 to scan the bar codes into Amazon for getting price, rank, etc. From what I've read, it looks like I should be able to do that, but I can't find the way to do it. I've looked everywhere from the manual to youtube. Any help would be appreciated.
