From what I know, you can use Evernote without wifi or Internet.  It just won't sync to their servers or sync to your other devices that have Evernote on them.

I've never tried using Evernote absent a WiFi connection, but I suspect that it requires being connected to the internet.  That info is probably on their website.  It does save your files.  I've used it for years & have never lost anything.

I am fairly new to use of Evernote in my iPad2. My questions are: do you have to be connected to an internet or Wifi connection in order to use it and 2) does it automatically save various files (I would be taking notes and wanting to create more than one document) or do you need to back it up on iCloud?
