Android is an operating system marketed by several companies on their
hardware. Apple is a hardware product with its own proprietary software.
To try compare Apple's customer service with Android's customer service
is an attempt in futility. You would need to select a particular
company's implementation of Android and then compare *that* company's
customer service to Apple's.
So if you buy an Android device, you would get it repaired according to
that hardware manufacturer's customer service policy, just as you would
for an iOS device.
