The Home button serves a good purpose, goes back Home, which is a good idea. But it needs to be used to get out of everything

I disagree. We have a friend, an older guy, who could never get the hang of Windows. He'd call to say his Windows machine was broken. When I went to look, he had a thousand windows open. He never got the idea that when you leave an open item on Windows, it doesn't go away, stop working, but keeps on using up system resources in the background. He's fine with the iPad and the home button. He does only mail, but that's all he did on his Windows machine, too.
