Lynn, I had the same confusion. I was out taking pictures with my iPhone 5. I had turned off my wifi so my phone wouldn't keep looking for a network. I forgot to turn my wifi back on.

so I was in the Cellular Data "mode" instead of being on
my network....as soon as I switched back to my network the
pictures came through.........duh.......I wonder if I will
ever get this all straight............
