No, I inherited the iPad because my dad died. On the other hand, he was over 90, had had a good life and long marriage, and was happy and healthy (certainly he had all his smarts) up til the very end. We're sad, of course, but if there is such a thing as a good life and a good death, he had them.
so it sounds like I need to wait til I get home and can plug the iPad into my iTunes, and register it from three. Before I do, I need to copy all his settings and which apps he had, and do my best to re-create his setup, because I'll have been using it his way for 2 weeks and will be used to it by then.
on the other hand...I find using the on-screen keypad to be terribly painful. I saw on Amazon that there are a number of iPad covers with integrated keyboards for the iPad 1... are there any suggestions for one that is better than the other?
