Re: [iPad] Two questions: dedicated e-readers / i Pad screen protectors

I have the iPad1, I have never put a screen protector on it and there is
not a scratch on it. I don't have children that use it but my cats with
claws sometimes play the iPad cat apps and their claws do not affect the
glass. It is really as tough as nails and I don't feel a screen
protector is necessary but it is an individual decision and how your
iPad is used.

I do have a screen protector on my iPhone 4S and on my iPad 1 so I am already used to the protection, but I would love to hear from others whose iPads are not protected if they have had problems with screen scratches and the like.
