So far, and I am a newbie I haven't had any spam e-mails as yet.My other groups, which I have been in for some years, have had spam sent to them one time or another but I think that the moderators can get rid of them???? .....we don't get much though thank goodness,Some folks get a kick out of sending spam, they are really folks that haven't got enough sane things to do....they just want to make mischief.Joy----- Original Message -----From: WoodySent: Thursday, January 26, 2012 1:33 PMSubject: Re: [iPad] SpamYes, but in this case it is the iPhone Yahoo group that is the SPAM problem. Smart thing would be for the owner to start a new group and shut the current one down.
Would guess with a bit of effort or moderating could stop trash.
We're in yahoo groups with over 3000 members and don't get this trash.
Sad, it should be a great list.

Most of that seems to come from hotmail.com.
I filter ALL hotmail.com to a special folder, and review it. About 1-2% is legitimate mail from "real people" who use hotmail; the rest is deleted. No virus found in this message.
