I have been trying to unsubscribe from the IPad group for about 3 days now.
I have sent 3 emails to iPad-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Safe Notes is one such app -- I keep my bank account numbers and other
important personal information in it.
Just remember that with this app or any other app (password protected or
not), if it's open when you put your iPad into sleep mode, when you wake
it up again, that app will still be open. So to safeguard against
someone else seeing what you don't want them to see be sure to exit
whatever password protected app you use and are back on the home screen
or in a different app before turning your iPad off.
