I have connected my iPad to my television set using the Apple
composite cable.
Notes:
1) I had to enable the "TV Out" in Settings.
2) Not every signal is transmitted. I had expected something like
seeing my wallpaper, but not so.
However, when I loaded a video, the iPad decided (and mentioned) that
it would play that back over the television. So it did, correctly.
