Re: [iPad] Consume vs Produce on an iPad

I'd say 25 consumption/75 production.  Roughly.  I use my iPad for some web surfing, but mainly I use it for my extensive note taking, as well as for writing when I am out and about - or don't want to move to the other end of the couch where my computer is!  I never take my laptop with me when I travel anymore.  I do use my Mini to put everything together - I write with Scrivener, which supports rtf syncing with iPad via Dropbox, Simplenote, etc.  So I can capture my thoughts on the iPad, and then make them pretty on the Mini.

In the future, if there were a Scrivener app, I could see using the iPad even more than I do now.

If I had to look at my typical week of using my beloved iPad, I would have to say it's about 60% consumption and about 40% of new content in some fashion.

What about you? And is there a difference between what you use the iPad for today and what you would consider in the future?
