I uploaded to Photos a screen capture I took after having pressed the plus sign and with the list displayed. The small black triangle sticking out at the right of the list points to the plus sign I was writing about. You have to be using iOS5. and you have to press the plus sign, not only tap it, as tapping it will simply open a new tab.
