Be sure all the apps you want downloaded to your iPad have been check marked in iTunes before you sync.

Thanks!
My new iPad 2 is the 32GB with WiFi/3g, running iOS 5.0.1.
One example of an app NOT downloading to my iPad is the "Choice Hotels app." At iTunes, the description states it's compatible with iPhone (don't have), iPod touch (don't have) and iPad, and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
It downloaded to my Apps folder in iTunes under the category of "iPhone and iPod Apps." My Apps folder shows 3 categories: 1) iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Apps, 2) iPhone and iPod touch Apps, and 3) iPad Apps.
A few of the apps that are listed under "iPhone and iPod touch Apps" have downloaded to my iPad, and some haven't. A couple that have downloaded are eBay, Etsy and Betty Crocker (recipes). Some that haven't include Better Homes Must-Have Recipes, NASA App, KitchenSubs, and of all things, the Apple Store.
Sorry for the wordy reply, but not sure how much info to give you so you can perhaps give me some pointers.
Thanks again!
