[iPad] Re: Photos on iPad2

Is it at all possible that these 1,000 photos some how found their way in via iCloud or from the OP's computer due to an errant sync? Fact is, the iPad DID NOT ship with a thousand pictures unless they were loaded at the factory as part of a test.

They had to come from somewhere and I suspect something was synced, somewhere.

This is a very long shot, but perhaps the OP got an iPad that was tested at the factory and part of the test required loading the device with lots of stuff. Then the device was not cleared beflre shipping.

I know for an absolute fact things like this can happen. I saw it when we manufactured Palm Pilots. I have also seen music loaded into RIO MP3 Players that were not part of the test program. It was a mistake but it can happen.
