Why don't you start your own group where you're the king & can make up your own rules & keep out the riff-raff?

| All of the other Yahoo groups of a technical nature I subscribe to have professionally minded owners/moderators who discourage (& enforce) lengthy, way off topic hijacking of threads. They do, however provide a "discussion" sub-group for members to ramble on with other subscribers to their heart's content about subjects initiated on the group. Greatly reduces the superfluous BS to be waded thru. This group has descended into the abyss of total uselessness - ie: numerous rants about personal health issues, the same questions asked & answered dozens of times (doesn't anyone do a search anymore before banging away on their keyboard? - Oh wait, they can't, since the subject lines quickly lose all semblance of what the post is actually about). \With that in mind, I think I'll accept the kind invitation of the "Emperor" and depart.......
