That's ridiculous.
When companies make mistakes (or when they assume you're all idiots) you call them on it.
Show others that they are playing you for fools; show them you aren't.
You _should_ be doing this for all advertising, all comments by politicos, all services and treatment from all companies, all the time. Doing any less is failing yourself.
It's called participation, and it's the kind that benefits other people.
It's extremely easy these days.
Beside that, the article was about ridiculing the past, a past they had a major part in -- not about predicting the future.
