You could broadcast the connection for a few minutes to facilitate the connection. Once you have connected you can hide the network again and your iPad will remember the connection.

I am trying to connect my iPad to an wifi network where the ssid is hidden. Obviously, the name of the network is not shown in the wifi list, but when trying to type in the ssid under other (even when the case of letter in the ssid name is correct), I am still having troubles connecting.
Is this a known issue? Anyone else found this? Is there a workaround without unhiding the ssid?
