I had a very embarrassing situation yesterday. I was conducting a training class and was using both my MAC and my iPad. The iPad had some examples of applying the tools that I was training. I've used my iPad with a VGA cable in this fashion before and had no trouble.
This time, however, I wasn't able to get a signal at all.
I had used the MAC with the projector for a couple of hours, unplugged the VGA connector for the MAC and plugged in the iPad with its own VGA connector. I tried it in Keystone in the play mode....no response. I tried another app that is VGA capable according the the feature list...no response. I did not have this problem before I updated to ios 4.
Then I tried it at home with another LCD projector that had previously been OK with showing iPad apps and nothing.
Has someone had this situation? And what did they do to fix it?
I am giving a presentation tomorrow and unfortunately I am carrying an old PC netbook with me on this trip that has a great track record of hooking up to a LCD projector. I was going to get rid of the thing....
Please help.
